THE LAST SUPPER
Supper was served and waiting alone I would find
Absent your hand and your mouth
Abandoned the bread and the wine in the table
Sorrow was served to my heart
Thought that my best days were gone there forever
I was so young and unwise
Choked with the tears that vanished my early years
I think of bread as a yearn or a poison and…
Bread was my memory and I took the pain with me
Nowhere my old man to be found
As I hold to memories, life has refused new springs
And that who I lost is who I was
You were my sea and my shore and my lighthouse
You were my well and my land
You tended a dream that you walked like a seer
That what you sow is what you reap
We flew to your hand like the birds to the fountain
We were the merriest flock
You laid on your land and you made it your raft
I know I will meet you downstream
I set a sail on my pen
And the wind will bring all the words that we never said
You stand as a throne for me and I’ll be the bird that sings cause words are the fruits that I can hand
Cheer for the memories life was prodigy, nothing more precious to be found

ODYSSEUS
Life set a sail in my soul
And I sailed to an empty sea
Wretched man coming home
From the ruins of Troy
When the wits of my mind
Weaved a lie in my path
Washed away in the sand
Yes, the wounds that I have
They set a siege in my heart
And I felt all was lost
At the end of the world
With all my deeds left behind
Heard a voice inside
By the keeper of winds
To the greatest of us
Will bring us the words and the will to carry on this mystery
Back to home in disguise
Here I come, if I drift, now I know: what’s above is what runs deep
Come sail with me, to the depth of my dreams

THE CYCLOPS
*Even though the available recording has no voice in it, I wrote a lyric for narrative purposes, which I happened to record, but decided to leave aside because I thought the piano by itself was better.
I saw a man that’s lost at sea
… and in his eyes, I saw the king that he concealed.
But does he know my single eye can look inside and tell him why…
… and I saw his fear, would blind/shade his path and make him strand
So… he ran away, he took my eye the one I had, the one he had
Then he forgo his name so he could escape
He said, he was No One
That spell now falls on Him
And he’ll live as is.

SOPHIA
There was a sea, a sea without borders
A sea, hidden in the land
Buried in the sand
Awaiting for your steps to dress up with light
There was a tree, who lost all his leaves
In an unending winter
But he offers a throne for the birds in the wind
He wish them to sing
Sophia, you were my spring
But if their feet comes like a flint, will I burn with my song unknown?
There was a man, you might call him a child
Who lived and love a lost promised land
Since the he's stranded and he doesn’t know why
Sophia, you will be my spring
← BACK TO THE STORY
THE TREE
Are my wounds and my deeds such a load that the waves won’t carry with them? Why it’s so?
When the wit of my foes left me here like a tree. Or was it me?
From a pilgrim to a shrine, from a hero to saint. I was lost.
Left myself to penance in the sand (Like a tree)
Now the wind blows the sand, it encloses around. Like a siege
Now I lost all my leaves and I’m dry to the bone. Will I burn?
And if not, write a word in my bark for the lovers to come, let them know
What’s the fate for a man when his home is the past, and he fears
And if fire is not, and my wood is still fit, make a raft
There’s a sea to be sailed and a life to be faced… but not for me
But I guess… it’s still there if you are willing to be
But there’s a chance, comes a bird… and she poses her feet in my hand and she sings, like a breeze
Call a flock, fly away… might the strength of your wings take the weight of my pain to your nest, keep me there
But she says: not the way! If you´re willing to go to the depth of the land, there’s a well.
And if you go, there’s a word, that will bring back your feet and the strength of your wil for your path, in the
sea…
Where you are meant to be lost on your way to the unknown… will you come?
To the depth of my dreams, will be carried away by my song… will you sing?
If you are willing to live with the truth of your heart as a sword… make it so.
Sing along…

THE SIEGE
When I sailed home from the Trojan war
There was a hope for a pleasant path
Once you feel lost comes a lifetime
When doubt unweaves the thread… that will take you to your land
A wretched man who thinks… he’ll never turn to his homeland
And every night fear tears apart… all the chances for your life
When I came back from the Trojan war
There was a long for my cherished land
Once your back to your land
The throne unfilled expects… for the might of your hand
The Queen awaits… with love boiling in her heart
The land demands… the labor of your hand
When I came back being who I was
There was a doubt in my crumbling heart
Once you thought you were triumphant
Your wit has set a horse… deep within your heart
The siege begins, the walls… are rising tall in your mind
No sword, no shield, the strength you know… will not work in this combat
Is it better to sink that an endless siege?
Am I only the king of a pointless trip?
Time will tell what’s my fate…

THE LIGHTHOUSE
Stranded in the sand, bring the wind that takes me back, and I…
Fear the storms that tear me apart
Far from glorious times, all my deeds are far in past, and I’m…
Praying just to stay alive
Once I was a king, but now I'm a vassal of the dreaded winds, and God
Have mercy of this vagaries
Tethered to a mast, sirens sing outside, and yes I’m…
Headed to a wreck of life
A Cyclope is not a lighthouse
Sirens songs won’t take you home
It’s soon for the answers
Just stay on your path
You won’t find light if you stare at life with an eye that’s blind
Strange as it might be, silence is making roaring sounds in me, and yes I am…
Starting to believe in me
Worlds that may be gone, are growing back for all to sea, and yes I am
The corner stone that’s meant to stand
Running inside me comes a river flowing to the sea, and yes I’m…
Pouring there my heart at last
Stand strong for the reason
You’re meant to be crowned
Patience my heart, there’s a king that lies in your soul at last
Just listen the man in the tower, he’s been calling your name
Follow the man in the tower, he’s been calling your name
A name you don’t know for yourself
It only takes the courage to be It only takes the courage to be…

THE COURAGE TO BE
Rooted in a bald tree
Stranded in a chamber
You’re back to life and there’s a light
You roll the stone and step outside
Your feet are back in shining sand
Now you are new, it’s up to you
Words and wounds rust as steel
They’ll become your crucifix
Come memories of past lives, wounds can last a lifetime
They’re masters of the master, prophets of the prophet
Afraid of new, afraid of truth
The only judge in inside you
You said the words that damned you:
“You’re not the man you used to be, you’re no the man you ought to be”:
I’ll tell you how you are just like me
You washed your hands when you could pick
You nailed yourself to a crucifix
You closed the walls back in your pit
When fear brought the dark knights, silence was a lighthouse
No better words, no better winds
The wisdom of your inner stream
Your heart is like a fountain
It only takes the courage to be
It only takes the courage to be It only takes the courage to be…

ITHAKA
Life set a sail in my soul
I thought my place was a name
And tides, rise and fall, I’m at peace
Now, I’m the shore and the guard
I’m sailing now in a boundless sea
I’ll shine a light when you are lost at sea
Time brought the rain, and brought the spring
And with my roots and with my eyes
I’ll drink the beauty that runs around
And when I’m gone, my remains
Will cast a shadow where you can sit
I’ll call the birds so they sing for you
And if you come, to my feet
You will eat from my fruit and will drink from my roots, and you’ll know
There’s a truth in your heart that will work as sword when you doubt
You’ll walk the walk with no wounds or creeds
That who I lost and who I was
They have been standing before my eyes
I’ll serve the bread and the wine
Our souls will cheer cause our future’s bright
I left my sad in the past
I’ll burn the boats that could take me back
I’ll burn the boats that could take me back - x2
ALMITRA
You might think I'm a madman
You can take away that you think I'm blind cause I thought
That I knew better than life while
All my words were bright and my mind was sharp, but in vain
I'm not quite deep for a wiseman
But the winds have changed, they have brought my voice from the depths
We are a step ahead of a world that fears of the light
And a step behind of the world we dream in our hearts
Take a leap of faith, take a step ahead as a dance
And dance, just dance you lovers of life...
Break the spell of this fool now
My guitar has weeped and my voice has cracked with the pain
Cause from time to time life will break our hearts for a while
I've been blessed with the joy now
Might the loveliest words and the happiest tune be my song
As a lullaby, as a fairy spell that we sing...
Sing, just sing you lovers of life
Take a look at the world now
Looks like barren land if you faint of heart, you will doubt
That I can grow in the stone like
An sprouting weed that you miss to see as it creeps
Cause your heart's the heart that has brought my heart back to life
And you've been waiting for you time
You're reviving rain, life's a dough of clay that you shape
If you pour your heart in the vase you make, you will find
Things are blooming around you
With your tender hands you have toiled the land, now it's time
When you sing and dance, all the world will see how you shine
Shine, just shine, you lovers life

KNOCK KNOCK
If you could pray as once you played, my child you know I’ll meet you there
I'll stand and wait, I'll take me place, the more you beg, the more I say
You just blame your pain and misery on the world you live
Ring, ring... there's a call that you won't take
And you push the truth away and pray, that things will go your way
Run, run... there's no way to hide away
I saw a light, I know you're there, It seems you know I'm here to stay
You can hide and play the fool with me cause you know I'll wait
Knock, knock... someone's calling at the door
You know reason is the faith of men when they're too afraid to believe
Hey, hey... will you shut the door to me?
Child, child... will you miss the bliss I bring?
Well, well... what you want to get from me?
Knock, knock it's just heart that calls inside and he's come to show you the way
Just walk outside leave the fear behind cause now it's time to be free
Dance, dance... if you'll walk your path as me
Sing, sing... if you trust your truth as me
Shine, shine... with the brilliance of your heart
Knock knock call with your heart the hearts of the men that wish to believe
Show the world what you have to sing, so it knows it's time to be free
Will be free, will be free...
MUSTAFA
Open the door, let in your heart
And bring on bring on, the treasures you find
We will not hold the gifts that we have found
The light of your love, the bliss of your heart
Has brought my spirit back to the light
And now I'm standing in plain sight
I was a treasure that wished to be found
So dig on dig on and one day you'll find
I'm seed and flesh and throne where you can stand
Cause under the tongue of the poet lies the key to a kingdom that we will unbound
And now I sing my words will ring out loud
That we were the thirst of the stream of life, we are the dream of a dreaming might
Let's build the world we dreamed once in our hearts
King and Queen, together at last
Forget the days of fear and doubts…

ECHOES OF RAIN
I was standing alone where I thought I could
Hide from the light and the rain
You came like the most soothing rain and the
Rage of the storm, such a might to behold
Now that you’re gone I still shake with the
Echoes of rain
Despite you’re gone I’ll come to bloom again
My song will wash away all the pain
In this life you know, the birds will sing
Their song and fly their way
But come what may, my voice will bring the
Strenght so we rise again
Boy, you’re like a bird, and wherever you go,
You’ll take the
Echoes of...

NIE DAM SIE
*Nie Dam Sie is a polish expression which I heard from the famous pianist Arthur Rubinstein, and it roughly translates as “I will never give up”.
Once came a light, and then came the doubt in my heart of the truth of my inner path
I'm thinking too much, and trying too hard to put chains on a soul that's just passing by…
So I’ll give up to try, but I’ll never give up on the light of my heart
I'm singing a bit so you know it's me
My heart is again for thee and the tune that I sing is my Victory
The fact that I sing is my Victory
My song comes across with the might of a flying kiss
Don’t give up the fight and please never give up on the light of your heart
I'm singing again cause you might have missed
I've written an hymn for thee and the like in the land so we sing out loud
Me and the like in the land we will sing out loud
The love you gave once to my soul has just turned my tide
The love you gave once to my soul has just turned the tide
Once there was a doubt, but now in my soul is the strength of a faith that is hard to find
